F95 Medaka Fish

The Medka fish,  is a species of small freshwater fish that belongs to the family Aplocheilidae. It's commonly found in slow-moving waters like ponds, marshes, and streams, primarily in parts of South Asia, such as India and Sri Lanka.

• Size: Medka fish typically grow to about 3 to 4 inches (7-10 cm) in length.
• Color: They often have a silvery or yellowish body with a slight iridescent sheen. The males are usually more colorful, with a mix of shades ranging from gold to blue.
• Habitat: These fish thrive in shallow waters with dense vegetation. They prefer stagnant or slow-moving waters where they can find plenty of plant cover.
• Diet: Medka fish are omnivores and eat small invertebrates, algae, and detritus.
• Behavior: Medka fish are peaceful and social, often found in groups. They are livebearers, meaning they give birth to live young rather than laying eggs.
